Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists believe that occupations provide meaning and have the power to influence the health of human beings. The primary goal of our occupational therapists is to help our clients achieve health, well-being, and participation in life through participation in an occupation.

Evaluates and treat children with limitations in:

  • Fine motor skills

  • Handwriting or computer skills

  • Eye-hand coordination

  • Visual motor skills

  • Self-care

  • Dressing

  • Brushing teeth and self-feeding.

  • Learn positive behaviors and social skills

  • Manage frustration and anger

  • Sensory function

  • Perceptual motor skills

  • Reflexes integration

What is ABA Therapy?

ABA Stands For: Applied Behavior Analysis

ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.

  • Memory and academics

  • Attention

  • Reciprocal interactions

    ABA is adapted to meet the needs of the each unique person.

Services are provided in a one-on-one setting with an emphasis on parent/caregiver education to assist in achieving client goals. Therapy services continue as long as they are deemed medically necessary and progress is made toward established goals.
